GUARDIANS OF THE VISITATION
The Guardians of the Visitation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization in the United States. The Guardians of the Visitation in Italy, Philippines, and Madagascar are Lay Associations following the Charism of the Sisters Servants of the Visitation Foundation Incorporated, SSVFI.
American missioners, wishing to offer assistance to the Sisters Servants of the Visitation in their work with the poorest of the poor in Borongan, Eastern Samar, Philippines, established a new branch organization in the United States on February 21, 2019. The Sisters Servants of the Visitation extend love, care, healthcare, and educational services to poor children in their care facility, Ain Karim Children's Home, and to the impoverished families in the surrounding communities. In 2021 the Guardians of the Visitation expanded the scope of their efforts of support to include the SSV Mission in Ol Moron, Laikipia County, Kenya which operates Magnificat House, a home for abandoned children and rescue home for young girls and women, a Catholic Health Dispensary, and many apostolates that serve the large and widespread community of St. Marks Catholic Parish, Ol Moran, Kenya.
