A NEW CONVENTUAL CHAPEL AT THE OL MORAN MISSION
Magnificat! The long-standing desire and vision to building a conventual chapel for the Servants of the Visitation Mission in Ol Moral has been transformed into reality through the generous donation of an anonymous benefactor in the United States. The November of 2025 gift to the Servants of the Visitation Sisters Mission in Kenya was the springboard needed for the congregation to move forward with the architecture firm in Italy which also designed St. Mark Catholic Church in Ol Moran, to finalize conceptual drawings for the proposed chapel, seek a builder, and the necessary permits to begin building. By the Grace of God and under the guidance and protection of Our Mother of the Visitation, Vicar General Sr. Cyprriene Rafezy, SSV was present with Rev. Giacomo Basso, pastor of St. Mark Catholic Church, the Sisters and Guardians of the Visitation in Ol Maoran participated in the ground-breaking for the new chapel on February 13, 2026. Work fully commenced in June 2026 after the installation of o new septic system for the site. Below are pictures of the on-going project!!

RENEWAL
THANK YOU TO OUR BENEFACTORS who gifted much needed appliances to the ssv mission in Ol Moran, Kenya. A new refrigerator for the convent was purchased to accommodate the increase in dairy and dairy byproducts from the milk production of the Mission's cows. Also, a large washing machine was purchased to assist the Dispensary with maintaining clean sheets for patients.
November 2025
Long Irrigation Pipes were laid to make way for the expansion of the vegetable garden and new greenhouse at the SSV Mission in Ol Moran, Kenya. The produce from the abundant harvest from the garden feeds the children and Sisters, and is also sold to the local school to provide a small income to the mision.

BORONGAN MISSION PAINTING
NEW WINDOW SCREENS
The Playground of Ain Karim Children's Home was repaired and renewed with new cyclone fencing, mural scenes of Creation for the children, and the cleaning and repainting of the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine.

VISITATION SHRINE RENEWAL
Beauty lifts the soul. Several common areas of the SSV Mission in Borongan were given a facelift with the addition of beautiful murals designed and painted by co-worker Rizza Lubat during the summer of 2025.

GREENHOUSE AND IRRIGATION
NEW WINDOW SCREENS! The replacement of screens on the Ain Karim and Gioia buildings was made possible impart through the MCP donations to Diocese of Milwaukee in 2023. Broken wire and plastic mesh screens were replaced with fine stainless steel screens to protect the children from mosquitos.

A NEW ROOF FOR THE CONVENT
The small shrine of the Visitation by Ain Karim Children's Home Dormitory was renewed and repainted. The roof of the shrine was rebuilt and a blue steel tile roof with gutters was added. The garden hardscape surrounding the shrine was cleaned and rebuilt. Two spotlights were installed and a grounded exterior electrical socket was installed to permit additional lighting for holy days.

SSV FREE CATHOLIC DISPENSARY
Building a Greenhouse for the Ol Moran Mission will be a reality in Spring 2025!! Thanks to all the generous friends of the Sisters servants of the Visitation who supprted the Greenhouse #Giving Tuesday 2024 fundraiser. The SSV Sisters will be able to build a half acre green house, guard house, and long pipe irrigation system to propagate a four and a half acres of land to sustain Magnificat House and the Mission.
PLAYROOM RENEWAL
"Raise the Roof" 2024 #GivingTuesday Project:

Thanks to the generosity of many who supported 2024 Giving Tuesday fundraiser to raise the funds to replace the roofs at the SSV Mission in Borongan City, PH we are able to fund the replacement of the convent roof in 2025. Building to begin in March, 2025.
NEW INCINERATOR
Two quarterly purchases of medicines for the Free Catholic Dispensary operated by the SSV Sisters on the compound of St. Mark Catholic Church, Ol Moran, Kenya in 2024.

BABY CHICKS PROJECT
New paint and repairs to the walls of the SSV Mission Aid Bato mission. a new therapy room was designed for the Ain Karim children! Wall were stabelized water sealed and repainted, new wall murals added, tables repaired and recovered, new mats purchased, exercise balls, new cutains and door to the CR make the room function for therapy and as a multi purpose area for tutoring and a morning playroom. The 2023 Archdiocese of Milwaukee MCP Program funded this renewal to brighten the space for the children.

FLOOR PAINTING
Funding for the building of a new larger incinerator to serve the SSV OL Moran Mission and Magnificat House, Ol Moran, Kenya was a result of the 2023 MCP Program in the US. A new double-stack incinerator was built based on the design of North Kinogop Hospital's incinerator.
The incinerator is projected to produce clean ash to assist with the fertilization of the mission's garden and fields.Project was funded through the 2023 MCP Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI, USA

NEW OVEN FOR OL MORAN
Ol Moran Mission, Kenya project to increase chicken flocks for the purpose of increased egg production to feed the children, SSV Sisters, give to the poor, and sell to the school. The rabbit pen area was expanded and refitted as a chicken coop and run. One hundred baby chicks were purchased to expand the flock. Project funded by 2023 MCP

A new proffessional large-capacity washing machine was purchased in October 2022 for the SSV Formation House in Nairobi Kenya thanks to the generous donation from the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT, USA.
NEW CR FOR GIOIA BUILDING
Ongoing funding of Physical Therapy Sessions for Special Needs Children of Ain Karem.
NEED: Physical Thaerapy Equipment for ongoing practice at the SSV Mission sites in Borongan, PH and Ol Moran, Kenya
A new threshing Maschine was purchased November 2022 with funds from a generous donation from the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT, USA. The threshing machine is for sustainable living at the SSV Mission, Ol Moran, Kenya.
A New Comfort Room (CR) has been added to the Gioia building in November 2022. The tile work and plumbing are complete. The CR will serve the building for daily use and many events held there for the children. Funding for this project came from the Archdiocese of Chicago MCP Program.
