Announcing our Fall campaign to replace the Sisters Servants of the Visitation's Mission Van! We are jumping in to partner with #GivingTuesday, Dec.3,2019 to raise funds to help the Mission Home purchase a new much needed transport van to help with all mission activities.
The SSV Sisters’ 2004 van has outlived its usefulness. It has survived Super Typhoon Yolanda and Super Typhoon Ruby. It has been driven over 150,000 miles on some of the worst roads in the Philippines. It is held together with duct tape!
The van is needed to transport children to church, to the hospital, to help perform mission activities, to carry supplies, and to go to the market. It is especially needed to transport the children to higher ground during typhoons. The van is essential to the success of the Sisters’ mission work.
A New Van Can’t Come Quickly Enough!
The cost is an unimaginable sum for poor Sisters…but we have great imaginations! And we have confidence in God’s Providence.
Please join our effort to help the SSV Sisters reach their goal of a new VAN.
Please join us on or before Dec. 3rd #GivingTuesday and be a part of this global day of uplifting communities through GIVING.
